Having being thrilled with Delightful’s first two foals, a colt and a filly both by the stallion Breitling, we were excited to see what she would produce with Breitling son, the Grand Prix stallion Berkeley. As usual Delightful has come up trumps and produced another stunning filly who we have named Ballet Dancer to reflect her elegant poise and graceful movement.
Berkeley W is a statuesque Oldenburg stallion who was bred, trained and competed successfully to Grand Prix by Wolfram Wittig. His flawless temperament and striking looks add to the package of proven competitor and successful bloodlines. Berkeley’s grandfather Fabriano was the winner of his performance test with excellent scores in both dressage and jumping. He possesses rhythmical, flowing movements and was also awarded high marks for rideability, demonstrating a pleasing and uncomplicated temperament. For more information on Berkeley please see his page in our sires section.
Delightful is a beautiful liver chestnut mare with impeccable bloodlines who more than lives up to her name. She is by Dimaggio, the 2000 World Champion of five year old dressage horses, he is a noble, modern Hanoverian with three outstanding basic paces. Delightful’s mother is by the 2008 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year De Niro and her grandmother is a full sister to the legendary Rubinstein so there is no doubting the quality of her pedigree. For more information on Delightful please see her page in the mares section.
