Barossa

Barossa is an outstanding liver chestnut gelding by leading dressage sire Breitling W.  Born in 2008, he is a modern type with a ground covering walk, an extravagant, loose trot and incredible hindleg from his mother, and of course the fabulous Breitling canter! 

Barossa’s father Breitling is has been at the top of the German breeding index for several years and is known for producing quality yet trainable offspring who include several licensed sons such as Berkeley, Benvenuto, Bertoli, Brioni and our own Baron de Ley as well as hugely successful competition horses such as Balderassini, Biagotti and Blind Date.  For further information please see Breitling’s page in our Sires section.

Barossa has impeccable bloodlines from his mother Delightful, a beautiful liver chestnut mare who more than lives up to her name.  She is by Dimaggio, the 2000 World Champion of five year old dressage horses, he is a noble, modern Hanoverian with three outstanding basic paces.  Delightful’s mother is by the 2008 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year De Niro and her grandmother is a full sister to the legendary Rubinstein so there is no doubting the quality of Barossa’s pedigree.
