Benvenuto

Benvenuto is a gorgeous chestnut stallion who is proving to be a producer of top quality dressage horses.  Benvenuto was awarded the coveted Premium title at his licensing despite being one of the only stallions not put forward for auction.   He also scored the maximum score of 10 for temperament and character in his performance test. 

Benvenuto’s father Breitling is currently number one in the German breeding index and is known for producing quality yet trainable offspring who include several licensed sons such as Berkeley, Bertoli, and our own Baron de Ley as well as hugely successful competition horses such as Balderassini, Brioni, Biagotti and Blind Date.  For further information please see Breitling’s page in our Sires section

Benvenuto's mother Weserfee is an outstanding mare, not only was she extremely successful at mare shows, but in addition to producing the premium licensed stallion Benvenuto, she has also produced several Verden auction horses, many going on to Grand Prix, as well as the stallion Donnerman who was sold after achieving outstanding grades at his 100 day test.  She is by the legendary stallion Weltmeyer who won his stallion licencing, his stallion performance test, the Federal Championships and was awarded the title 'Hanoverian Stallion of the Year', although many may argue it should be 'of the Century'.  Weltmeter has sired more than 100 approved sones, 250 State Premium mares, 11 Bundeschampions, and many successful Grand Prix horses including Olympic Gold medalist Weltall and World Cup winner Warum Nicht. One of the most exciting things Weltmeyer does is stamp his offspring with a wonderful hock action.
