Blossom

Blossom is a classy chestnut filly by the number one dressage sire Breitling W. Born in 2008, she has three extravagent paces and a super easy going temperament.  Blossom was recently started under saddle and is now in training with the successful German rider Sandra Frieling.

Blossom’s father Breitling is currently number one in the German breeding index and is known for producing quality yet trainable offspring who include several licensed sons such as Berkeley, Benvenuto, Bertoli, Brioni and our own Baron de Ley as well as hugely successful competition horses such as Balderassini, Biagotti and Blind Date. For further information please see Breitling’s page in our Sires section.

Blossom’s mother Wiesenburg is by the monumental stallion Weltmeyer who won his stallion licensing, his stallion performance test, the Federal Championships and was awarded the title 'Hanoverian Stallion of the Year', although many may argue it should be 'of the Century'. Weltmeter has sired more than 100 approved sons, 250 State Premium mares, 11 Bundeschampions, and many successful Grand Prix horses. Wiesenburg comes from a very strong dam line, her mother Sprite is full sister to the dam of Wizenzo who won his 70-day test, he scored four 10s and five nines, receiving nines for his paces and 10s for temperament and rideability. Sprite’s father Sherlock Holmes comes from some of the finest Hanoverian blood, he was the reserve champion of his performance test and has produced several licensed sons. Sprite’s maternal Grand sire is Consul, a Trakehner stallion almost perfect in his harmonious body, his top line, the correctness of his foundation and the masculine expression of his face. Consul's damline is among the best of the breed, which is responsible for producing an endless list of highly successful sport horses.
