Brisbane

Brisbane is by the stallion Berkeley W, this sublime foal was born in 2009 out of Wiesenburg our enchanting Weltmeyer mare.  He has three pleasing paces and a superb character like his father.  Berkeley W is a statuesque Oldenburg stallion who was bred, trained and competed successfully to Grand Prix by Wolfram Wittig.   His flawless temperament and striking looks add to the package of proven competitor and successful bloodlines.  Berkeley’s father Fabriano was the winner of his performance test with excellent scores in both dressage and jumping. He possesses rhythmical, flowing movements and was also awarded high marks for rideability, demonstrating a pleasing and uncomplicated temperament.  

 

Brisbane’s mother Wiesenburg is by the monumental stallion Weltmeyer who won his stallion licensing, his stallion performance test, the Federal Championships and was awarded the title 'Hanoverian Stallion of the Year', although many may argue it should be 'of the Century'.  Weltmeter has sired more than 100 approved sons, 250 State Premium mares, 11 Bundeschampions, and many successful Grand Prix horses. Wiesenburg comes from a very strong dam line, her mother Sprite is full sister to the dam of Wizenzo who won his 70-day test, he scored four 10s and five nines, receiving nines for his paces and 10s for temperament and rideability.  Sprite’s father Sherlock Holmes comes from some of the finest Hanoverian blood, he was the reserve champion of his performance test and has produced several licensed sons.  Sprite’s maternal Grand sire is Consul, a Trakehner stallion almost perfect in his harmonious body, his top line, the correctness of his foundation and the masculine expression of his face. Consul's damline is among the best of the breed, which is responsible for producing an endless list of highly successful sport horses.
