Steinway is a beautiful chestnut Hanoverian who turns heads with his eye catching markings, no need for white bandages when you have four perfect white socks!  He shares the same father (Sandro Song) as the legendary Sandro Hit but what makes his bloodlines very interesting is that he also shares the common bond of being out of a Ramino mother.  As you would expect from these bloodlines he moves with great athleticism and cadence.

 

Steinway’s father Sandro Song was presented at the Oldenburg Stallion approval where he was crowned "Young Stallion Champion".  His excellent jumping ability is typical of his bloodline, however, he also has fabulous movement and rideability for dressage.  In 1995 his first two sons made their debut, both these young stallions gained their initial approval and one was named Sandro Hitwho has started a new dynasty in the world dressage scene. National Young Horse Champion, and Young Dressage World Champion, Sandro Hit and his progeny are breaking all price-records and are regularly winning championships and approval Championships.

 

Steinway’s mother is State Premium Rouletteshe was imported from Germany as a young horse and has produced some excellent offspring.  Amongst them is a son who is a grade A showjumper and her daughter, Durfree Angelica (by Atlantus) was crowned Champion Mare and awarded the Gold Medal at the British Warmblood Society mare grading,  heading an attendance of over 30 mares.  Steinway’s full sister was given Elite status at her mare grading and his full brother was placed 3^rdin the final of the Shearwater Young Dressage Horse Championships with an amateur rider.  Roulette's bloodline takes us to the famous Ramiro via her sire Ramino.   Ramiro's performance both as a sport horse and breeding sire has earned him the title 'Stallion of the Century'.   When Ramiro was presented for selection, he was described as the ideal type - tall and elegant with a powerful frame, a glorious face and large, clear eyes. His excellently formed neck, beautifully set, could still be seen, even when he was an old horse and are stamped on his progeny.  Ramiro is arguably the most influential jumping stallion ever and provides valuable athleticism to his offspring and their descendants.
