Wangelis

Wangelis is a noble black Hanoverian.  His charming character makes him a pleasure to be around as he is a true gentleman at all times.  As you would expect from a son of Weltmeyer he posesses an impressive trot characterized by suspension and elevation.

Wangelis is by the legendary stallion Weltmeyer who won his stallion licencing, his stallion performance test, the Federal Championships and was awarded the title 'Hanoverian Stallion of the Year', although many may argue it should be 'of the Century'.  Weltmeter has sired more than 100 approved sones, 250 State Premium mares, 11 Bundeschampions, and many successful Grand Prix horses including Olympic Gold medalist Weltall and World Cup winner Warum Nicht. One of the most exciting things Weltmeyerdoes is stamp his offspring with a wonderful hock action.

Wangelis’ mother Elite Mayfair enjoyed a short but successful competition career in dressage culminating in a trip to Addington Manor, Buckinghamshire, to take part in the British Hanoverian Horse Society Mare Performance Test where she was crowned Champion Mare and was one of only two mares on the day to be awarded ‘Elite’ status, the British equivalent of State Premium Status.    She is by Medoc who is bred from Germany's finest bloodlines, including the famous Gotthard and Absatz.  Medoc combines excellent conformation, elastic paces, and outstanding jumping ability with a wonderful temperment, all of which he passes on to his progeny.
