Wiesenburg

Wiesenburg is a lovely mare who produces quality foals with extravagant movement and super temperaments.   She has inherited the typical Weltmeyer hindleg and has also passed this on to her children Blossom (by Breitling) and Brisbane (by Berkeley).  Her 2012 foal Fahrenheit SC is by the exciting young stallion Foundation.

Wiesenburg is by the legendary stallion Weltmeyer who won his stallion licencing, his stallion performance test, the Federal Championships and was awarded the title 'Hanoverian Stallion of the Year', although many may argue it should be 'of the Century'.  Weltmeter has sired more than 100 approved sones, 250 State Premium mares, 11 Bundeschampions, and many successful Grand Prix horses including Olympic Gold medalist Weltall and World Cup winner Warum Nicht. One of the most exciting things Weltmeyer does is stamp his offspring with a wonderful hock action.

Wiesenburg comes from a very strong dam line, her mother Sprite is full sister to the dam of Wizenzo who won the 70-day test in Marbach with the exceptionally high score of 143.9 in the dressage and 134.2 overall. He scored four 10s and five nines, receiving nines for his paces and 10s for temperament and rideability.  Sprite’s father Sherlock Holmes was the reserve champion of his performance test and has produced several licensed sons.  Hecomes from some of the finest Hanoverian blood and his sire Salvano is the grandsire of Anky Van Grunsven's Olympic gold medal winning mount Salinero.  Sprite’s maternal Grand sire is Consul, this amazing bay stallion had already left a huge stamp on the Trakehner breed when he started his late career in Hanover. He provided the perfect mix of "noblesse and caliber", a stallion almost perfect in his harmonious body, his top line, the correctness of his foundation and the masculine expression of his face. Consul added much needed (and very high quality) blood through his sire Swazi xx. Consul's damline is among the best of the breed, which is responsible for producing an endelss list of highly successful sport horses.
